Praxair China has signed a contract with Hebei Baiqi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, in Baiqi, to supply nitrogen for its pharmaceutical production requirements.
Hebei Baiqi will use nitrogen for blanketing and inerting the production process, which will result in increased drying efficiency as well as improved functionality and safety performance of the reactor.
“This is an important contract in our relationship with Hebei Baiqi Pharmaceutical and demonstrates our technical capability to support energy saving in the pharmaceutical industry,” commented David Chow, president of Praxair China.
