Praxair Canada Inc. has acquired Canadian Cylinder & Gases Inc. (CCG), an independent distributor of industrial and specialty gases and welding equipment.
The business is located in Prince George, British Columbia, where it has been in operation for over 15 years.
The news is seen as the further strengthening of the company’s network in the country. It also follows Praxair Canada’s very recent acquisition of no less than five former Airgas sites in western Canada – in Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, Regina and Saskatoon.
