Pfeiffer Vacuum rebrands as Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions

Vacuum technology specialist Pfeiffer Vacuum has rebranded as Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions to better reflect its vacuum and semiconduction fab solutions offering.

Confirmed today (16th Oct), the rebrand also comes with a new logo that incorporates a turbopump’s rotor blade and stator blade. The company said this reflects its spirit of innovation in the vacuum industry.

Wolfgang Ehrk, CEO of Pfeiffer, said, “Our new logo is more than just a trademark. It tells our story, which began with the invention of the turbopump and became a global success.”

“Our teams design and manufacture products that are used in the world’s most high-tech applications and future megatrends, exploring the frontiers of knowledge.”

The introduction of the new name and logo also marks the 70th anniversary of the company’s first major innovation, the turbomolecular vacuum pump.
