Malaysian oil and gas company Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) has delivered its first LNG cargo to Japanese company Hokuriku Electric Power Company (Hokuriku Electric).
The delivery, made through Petronas’ subsidiary Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG), marks the beginning of MLNG’s supply to Hokuriku Electric via a Sale and Purchase agreement signed in December 2016.
Under the terms of the agreement, Petronas, through MLNG, will supply up to six cargos of LNG per year for 10 years.
