Peak Scientific has installed one of its Peak Precision Hydrogen gas generators at a hi-tech glycomics research facility at the University of Adelaide, Australia.
Adelaide Glycomics, based at the university’s campus, is the first comprehensive site that focuses on the analysis of complex carbohydrates, dubbed ‘glycans,’ in the Southern Hemisphere.
Peak delivered a Precision Hydrogen gas generator, which produces high-purity hydrogen (H2) by utilising a proton exchange membrane (PEM) to create the gas from deionised water, to the facility.
The machine will assist Adelaide Glycomics make advances in its research of glycoscience, which is the study of the structure and function of carbohydrates or biological sugars.
