Motion and control technology leader Parker Hannifin Corporation is celebrating its 100th year in business.
Established in Ohio, US, in 1917, this year marks a century of growth and innovation for Parker. Since its inception, the company has been granted more than 8,000 patents and advocated technological innovation in diversified industrial markets such as life sciences, construction and agriculture.
Parker’s products are critical components in engineered systems that facilitate the motion and controlled flow of gases and liquids for a variety of global markets. Its operations have grown to span more than 300 facilities in over 50 countries and extends through more than 13,000 distribution partners.
Founder Art Parker’s entrepreneurial experience is reflected throughout the company. In a speech he gave to employees in the 1930s, he said, “Our success is founded on fair dealing, hard work, coordination of effort and quality products.”
