OXYMAT A/S, a Denmark-based gas generator designer, has supplied an oxygen (O2) system to the newly built part of The San Fernando Teaching Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago.
The pressure swing adsorption (PSA) generator is now operating and supplying O2 for all 216 beds in the hospital.
The system provides a capacity of 28.2m3 per hour of O2 at 95% purity and 5 bar(g) outlet pressure.
A statement said that OXYMAT’s PSA generator has been supplied with medical approval and all certifications for medical purposes.
