UK-based Oxford Flow has secured an order worth nearly $1m from bp for its ES stemless axial flow valves, marking the company’s largest contract to date and a key milestone in its expansion into the US market.
The ES valve, used in oil and gas, petrochemical, and process industries, is designed for flow control with a focus on emissions reduction. Without a mechanical actuator, stem, or drive train, it is smaller and lighter than conventional alternatives, making it easier to integrate into existing systems. A electrohydraulic powerpack also enables remote operation.
Dr. Chris Kennell, Vice President of Sales – Americas at Oxford Flow, said demand for low-maintenance, emissions-reducing flow control solutions was increasing.
The company expanded into North America in 2020 with the establishment of Oxford Flow Americas Inc in Houston, Texas.
