Fluid-handling solutions firm OPW will divide its Clean Energy Solutions business unit into two distinct units: the existing CES segment and a new Propane Energy Solutions (PES) unit.
CES will focus on creating products and solutions that optimise the storage, supply and transport infrastructure for cryogenics, hydrogen, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and industrial gases in the heavy-duty truck, aerospace, aviation, railroad, marine, semiconductor and food and beverage industries.
According to the Dover company, CES will also feature technologies from both the ACME Cryogenics and RegO products brands.
With its overarching goal of increasing awareness that LPG is a ‘perfect green alternative’ for traditional fossil fuels, the PES unit will help meet the demand for LPG, which the company expects will ‘rise sharply’.
