Ohio-based OPW Group has completed the acquisition of SPS Cryogenics (SPS) and its affiliated business, Special Gas Systems (SGS), marking its third acquisition in less than two months.
SPS and SGS are now part of OPW’s Clean Energy Solutions business (OPW CES) within Dover’s Clean Energy & Fuelling segment.
Based in Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands, SPS and SGS design, manufacture, and supply vacuum-insulated piping systems for liquefied gases, including, but not limited to, nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide.
Kevin Long, President of OPW, said the purchase represents a logical addition to the recent acquisition of Demaco, supporting the OPW CES growth strategy.
