At least one person has died, with seven more currently reported as injured, following a large factory blaze at Tanjong Kling Road, on Jurong Island, in Singapore.
Details surrounding what caused the fire are unclear, but a rescue operation is currently underway.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said in a statement that it was alerted to the incident this morning – stating the fire occured in a laboratory.
Prior to their arrival, a few explosions were heard in the premises at 21 Tanjong Kling Road, believed to belong to a local gas manufacturing company.
