Nucor Corporation’s UIG division has announced plans to build and operate a new air separation plant and liquefier to supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon to its new state of the art steel mill in Brandenburg, Kentucky.
The plant will also supply liquefied industrial gases to Nucor and other wholesale partners in the area.
Capable of producing 1.2 million tonnes of steel products per year, the new steel mill and the air separation facility marks a significant investment for Nucor.
