North American Helium will bring two new helium purification facilities onstream in 2024, taking its total production capability to around 210 million cubic feet per year and representing around 7% of the total North American helium supply.
The plans were unveiled today (19th March) in the company’s operations and business update, which confirmed Cadillac and Antelope Lake, both in Saskatchewan, Canada, as the locations for the two new developments.
Set to come online in Q2 2024, the Cadillac-based purification facility will be an expansion of an existing plant that was constructed in 2023. With the addition, North American Helium’s total production from the Cadillac area will increase by around 33%.
