“Being the invisible industry is no longer in the CO2 market’s interest.”
That was a strong message from Rich Gottwald, President and CEO of the Compressed Gas Association (CGA), when he spoke at gasworld’s North American CO2 Summit.
“CO2 is being used in a number of applications than ever before,” he told delegates. “As the uses of this gas comes closer to the consumer, being the invisible industry no longer serves our best interest.”
Specifically, Gottwald said the vital uses of CO2 need to be clearly raised and emphasised to those that are creating and passing legislation that will impact the CO2 industry.
