European subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD) Nippon Gases has published its Sustainability Report for the fiscal year ending March 2023, highlighting the company’s commitment to its sustainability focus areas.
Nippon Gases also outlines the company’s compliance with the United Nations’ ‘Sustainable Development Goals, a list of 17 goals which aim to improve health and education, reduce inequality and spur economic growth while tackling climate change.
The report takes a deep dive into the company’s progress in areas such as resource optimisation, energy efficiency, water usage, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions reduction and sustainable technology solutions for customers.
Recognising that – although the effects of the global pandemic have dissipated – there is still uncertainty when it comes to the wider geopolitical and socioeconomic climate, the company has had to adapt to rapidly changing industrial landscape.
