Nippon Gases invests in IET Ecology to boost sustainability solutions

Nippon Gases, a European subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation, has made a strategic investment in IET Ecology to strengthen its environmental technology portfolio.

Based in Spain, IET Ecology specialises in advanced processes and technologies focused on circular economy, waste valorisation, and renewable energy.

The partnership is expected to help both companies to advance efficient energy systems and promote sustainable energy practices. Additionally, it will support carbon neutrality-focused projects.

It is hoped this will help clients to achieve short- and medium-term sustainability goals.

Raoul Giudici, President of Nippon Gases, said the partnership demonstrates the company’s focus on investing in capabilities that enhance its environmental technology portfolio.

“This collaboration allows us to offer more comprehensive, bespoke solutions that empower our customers on their carbon-neutral journeys.”

In 2023, Nippon Gases’ products, services, and technologies helped customers avoid emitting more than one million tonnes of carbon dioxide, surpassing its own emissions of 0.9 million tonnes.
