Swedish-based Nilsson Energy AB has chosen ATsolar as its partner in connection with a 250 kWp solar park in Mariestad, Sweden.
The solar park, which is scheduled for completion during the summer of 2018, will be the first of its kind in the world where renewable energy will generate hydrogen (H2) on a large scale for a H2 gas station without being connected to the electric grid.
The design of this next-generation solar park is based on experiences from the last five years, where ATsolar has built over 160 MW of capacity, which now supplies 20,000 homes with green energy. The CEO, Nicolai Faaborg Andresen, looks forward to the new partnership, “This is an exciting project, and we look forward to bringing our core competences into play while working on this ground breaking facility. The new partnership with Nilsson Energy bodes well for the future.”
