Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries’ Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group, a subsidiary of Nikkiso Co., Ltd, has opened a new office in Moscow, Russia, to help the support its LNG and Petrochemical customers in the Russian market, as well as CIS countries.
Alongside the facility opening announcement, the company also said it has received a contract to supply all the cryogenic pumps for a major liquefaction terminal currently under construction.
A major portion of the pumps will be designed and engineered at Nikkiso’s Higashimurayama, Tokyo plant, and assembled and tested at its factory in Miyazaki City, Japan.
The contract marks the first time Nikkiso has been able to provide all of the cryogenic pumps for a project of its size. The company has been able to carry out the contract due to its newly built factory in Miyazaki, Japan, which is allowing the Group to further diversify its product and manufacturing facilities outside of the US, and to better meet global needs.
