Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group, part of the Nikkiso Co., Ltd – operating under Cryogenic Industries in the US – will expand its sales, service and engineering facility in South Africa in a move that aims to provide support to the continent’s growing energy needs.
Established to prop up South Africa’s engineering hub and economic centre, the facility enables local engineers and field service support to provide customised solutions to the region.
The expansion included the addition of an air separation unit (ASU) commissioning team complete with customer support services.
According to Nikkiso, the additional engineering support will provide process and design optimisation and ‘innovative solutions’ for the region.
