California-based technology company NewHydrogen has announced a new ‘disruptive’ technology that promises to produce the world’s cheapest green hydrogen.
Having recently entered into a research agreement with the University of California (UC) Santa Barbara, the company developed a method to more efficiently split water into green hydrogen that uses heat instead of electricity.
Green hydrogen is typically produced through electrolysis by using electrolysers with solar or wind electricity to split water into hydrogen or oxygen.
