Fontarôme Chemical, Inc. is installing a 6,000-gallon cryogenic liquid nitrogen storage and distribution system to meet the growing demand for its products.
Fontarôme, a leading manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), active pharmaceutical intermediates, and flavor chemicals, uses gas and liquid forms of nitrogen to support its transfer systems and numerous custom-designed filter/dryer/blender units.
Samuel Modder, Fontarôme’s purchasing manager who is overseeing the installation of the liquid nitrogen system, said that the company’s productivity has grown considerably since the current, 3,000-gallon nitrogen tank was installed in 2001. $quot;We’re confident the larger tank will meet the growing demands of our customers, prove to be more efficient, and meet future demands,$quot; he concluded.
