Hot on the heels of the company’s launch, construction has begun on New Era Helium’s natural gas and helium processing plant in New Mexico.
Located approximately 20 miles north of Roswell, the Pecos Slope Plant will produce around 23 million standard cubic feet (MMscf) of gaseous helium per year.
The plant will also produce 477,000 million cubic feet of methane a month and 32,545 barrels of natural gas liquids a month.
New Era Helium hopes to have the site up and running by 1st June 2024 and has contracted Canadian engineering consultant Arjae Design Solutions to carry out the work.
