Fuel cell specialist AFC Energy PLC has appointed Jim Gibson to its Board of Directors as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.
The new addition will bring his extensive experience in operational management and business development in the chemicals sector to the AFC Energy team, as it prepares to ramp up the commercialisation of its alkaline fuel cell system.
CEO Adam Bond described Gibson as a “strong catalyst” and stated, “His direct experience in the chemical and industrial sectors drive an increased focus and relevance of AFC Energy’s leading alkaline technology and fuel cell systems to that expected from our commercial, strategic and project partners.”
