Thirteen companies have joined forces to establish special purpose corporation Hydrogen Energy Network (HyNet) which aims to install 100 hydrogen stations in South Korea by 2022.
Nel Korea, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, is the latest company to join the joint venture, which already includes Hyundai Motor Company, Korea Gas Corporation and Air Liquide Korea.
HyNet plans to build and operate hydrogen fuelling stations in South Korea together with strategic investors and is financially supported by the Korean Ministry of Environment.
