Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, a division of Nel ASA, has notched up successful deliveries to 60 countries worldwide after supplying a Nel A-150 electrolyser plant to Mexico.
The Norway-based business entered into an agreement with research institute Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo (IMP) to deliver the plant, propelling Nel to reach a new milestone as it marks delivery to a customer in its 60th country.
Lars Markus Solheim, Division Manager in Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, signified, “The Nel A-150 is the benchmark of efficiency in the market and we are proud to have been selected by IMP for the delivery of this complete onsite electrolyser plant.”
The machine will be used in IMP’s research project for Mexico’s national oil company Pemex, exploring how hydrogen (H2) can increase the efficiency of oil extraction.
