Nel Hydrogen Solutions, a division of Nel ASA, has been awarded a contract by H2 Frontier Inc. for a H2Station® hydrogen (H2) fuelling station to be installed in Los Angeles, California.
Jacob Krogsgaard, Senior Vice-President of Nel Hydrogen Solutions, commented, “It is great to be trusted with equipment delivery from yet another leading H2 fuelling company in California. The increasing need for higher capacity stations also underlines the ongoing successful rollout of H2 vehicles in this important state.”
The H2Station will replace existing equipment at a H2 fuelling station in Los Angeles, operated by H2 Frontier Inc. with the aim of providing more fuelling capacity and improved performance. The effort is supported by the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
This contract expands Nel’s market entry into California by adding a station into the Los Angeles area, south in the state, shortly after being awarded the contract to deliver a network of H2 fuelling stations in Northern California by Royal Dutch Shell Plc.
