The Scottish champion of industrial decarbonisation, NECCUS has announced its new appointment of renewables sector expert Ronnie Quinn as its new Chief Executive.
Quinn, who formerly held roles as Chief Executive for Crown Estate Scotland and interim CEO for the Scottish Council for Development and Industry, will relinquish his current role as advisor to Norwegian Energy Partners.
He takes over from Mike Smith who, after joining the company at its inception in 2019, is credited with contributing immense growth to NECCUS.
Speaking about his new opportunity, Quinn, who will formally join in the Autumn, said, “This is a really exciting time for the sector with many opportunities as well as challenges.”
