Air Products attended the 2013 China’s National University Chemistry Video Contest award ceremony held on November 29 at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and presented the award to one of the winning teams.
A key partner of the contest and a member of the judging panel, Air Products aims to inspire and broaden the horizons of future chemistry talents to create a more sustainable future.
Organised by the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers, China Chemical Society and Peking University, the contest themed “Chemistry, for Future Life” has run since May engaging students from over 120 China’s major universities. An industry leader, Air Products has aspirations to make the world more productive, energy efficient and sustainable through its innovative solutions.
During the contest, Air Products shared its gas technologies and applications for the energy and environment sectors and coached the students throughout their video production. The students also visited Air Products’ showroom and Technology Center located in Shanghai’s Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park to better understand how these technologies touch people’s daily lives.
