Chart, Inc. has been commemorating a significant milestone in the Japanese market with its distributor in the country, Daiho Sangyo Inc. (DSI).
October 2014 saw Chart’s Ball Ground, Georgia facility in the US reach a significant milestone in its relationship with the Japanese liquid cylinder distributor – the sale of its 50,000th cryogenic liquid cylinder in the country.
Tom Carey, President of the Distribution and Storage Group for Chart, Inc., presented the President of DSI, Mr Sasayama, with a special liquid cylinder that Chart produced to commemorate this mutual achievement (pictured).
Since the two companies established a relationship in 1989, Chart and DSI have sold 50,000 cryogenic liquid cylinders in Japan, ranging from 50-450 litres in capacity and in oxygen, argon, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide service.
