Group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd (MHI), MHI Engineering, Ltd. (MHIENG), is set to help decarbonise Japan’s cement industry through the application of its KM CDR Process carbon capture technology.

Announced today (March 29th), the demonstration – set to last nine months, commencing in June – was agreed upon through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between MHIENG and Tokuyama Corporation (Tokuyama), one of Japan’s leading chemicals/cement manufacturers.
