Mexico Pacific and hydrocarbon exploration and production firm ConocoPhillips have signed a 20-year liquified natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement.
Under terms of the deal, Mexico Pacific will supply ConocoPhillips with around 2.2 million tonnes per annum in aggregate of LNG across trains one, two, and three of its Saguaro Energia LNG export facility.
ConocoPhillips will purchase the LNG on a free on-board basis over a term of 20 years.
Once fully operational, the first phase of Mexico Pacific’s Energia LNG export facility will have three trains with a combined capacity of 15 million tonnes per annum.
