Messer today said it will construct a new gas production plant in Hungary as it continues to expand its operations in the country.
Having already invested €37.4m in Hungary, Messer recently signed a deal to construct a new onsite facility in Tiszaújváros with MOL Petrochemicals, due to go into operation in 2021.
The plant will supply approximately 14,500 standard cubic metres of nitrogen and 27,000 standard cubic metres of instrument air per hour for a new polyol complex, making it one of Messer’s larger onsite facilities in Southeast Europe.
