German industrial gas specialist, Messer is to support Vietnam’s continuing struggle against the Covid-19 pandemic by sending 30,000 rapid tests designed for the coronavirus antigen.
The handover of the tests will be presided by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam with the aid of the Wiesbaden, Germany-based World University Service (WUS), Deutches Komitee e.V.
Remarking upon the situation in Vietnam, Stefan Messer, CEO, Messer, said, “We are very affected by the human suffering of people infected with Covid-19 all over the world, and with this donation we are pleased to make a further contribution toward containing the pandemic in Vietnam.”
The Hesse-based industrial gases firm boosted its production of medical oxygen massively in the wake of the pandemic, aiming to supply medical oxygen to all of its locations throughout Europe, Asia and America.
