Following the reported opening of a new bottling plant in Western Europe and with expansion on the agenda, Messer is reported to be in the final stages of negotiations with local authorities to build a production plant site in Poland.
The projected €30m air separation complex will be a joint venture with Hangyang Ltd, the largest Chinese manufacturer of liquid air separation units, and will produce oxygen, nitrogen and argon for the Polish, Slovakian and Czech markets.
As well as manufacturing liquid technical gases, the plant will produce medical oxygen for the artificial respiration of patients in hospital or with home care and for application on the food industry.
The new site further expands and strengthens Messer’s production facilities in Europe.
