The UK’s Flintshire-based Medical Gas Solutions has been demonstrating the merits of its latest revolutionary medical gas equipment, at the world-famous Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) event which attracted over 160,000 visitors.
Medical Gas Solutions has been working closely alongside the Department of Health and emergency services specialists to develop its next-generation Frontline portable and MPU multi-patient oxygen delivery systems, incorporating Luxfer Medical’s 300 bar Excursion and Odyssey cylinders.
A Department of Health contract has already been awarded to Medical Gas Solutions to provide NHS Trusts with the MPU multi-patient oxygen delivery system, as revealed by gasworld in late July this year. The faith in this technology was highlighted as the company was invited to provide its medical gas equipment at the RIAT show.
Darren Allen, Medical Gas Solution’s sales and marketing director, said, “We were delighted to be invited to help out at the RIAT show which provided an excellent showcase for our new range of multi-patient equipment. The MPU series was originally developed for use after a chemical or biological attack, and is now being reviewed for use as an emergency standby oxygen supply for main hospitals, temporary hospitals and emergency treatment centres.”
