McPhy has announced that it has been granted exclusive distribution rights in Europe for SimpleFuel™, the all-in-one hydrogen refuelling station recently developed under a US Department of Energy (DOE) initiative.
SimpleFuel™ is a turnkey, compact and affordable refuelling station developed by McPhy and its partner Ivys Energy Solutions in co-development with PDC Machines in the US, under the auspices of the US DOE’s $1m H2 Refuel H-Prize contest.
Launched in October 2014, the competition was devised to challenge American innovators to develop small-scale hydrogen generation and refuelling systems to promote the introduction of zero emission Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV).
