MATHESON has been singled-out for its services by the Chinese firm, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC).
SMIC, one of the largest semiconductor foundries in the world and the largest and most advanced foundry in Mainland China has named MATHESON its Total Gas and Chemical Management (TGCM) provider for its Shanghai fabrication facility.
Todd Givens, MATHESON’s Regional Operations Director, welcomed the award. In a recent company statement he commented, $quot;We appreciate the opportunity to show SMIC how MATHESON can help them enhance the safety, efficiency, reliability and cost savings of their gas and chemical operations.”
MATHESON will now be responsible for the inventory, delivery and hook up of the facility’s process gases and chemicals. In addition, the company will oversee the operation and maintenance of the facility’s gas and chemical delivery systems.
