MATHESON has revealed that it is now offering new industrial gas technologies and gas management solutions to help lower costs and improve the productivity of biofuels processes.
The gases include oxygen, hydrogen, CO2 and nitrogen – and the necessary technologies to help improve processes in laboratories, pilot plants and full-scale biofuel production units.
MATHESON solutions can significantly affect biofuel production costs, the company claims, by improving process efficiency and reducing gas requirements. Additionally, integrating gas requirements with process needs and byproduct gases extracts more value and further lowers costs.
The new biofuels brochure highlights such applications as gasification, syngas treatment, algae growth, hydrotreating/hydrogenation, FCC/pyrolysis, computational fluid dynamics, biotechnology, products separation and inerting/blanketing.
