MATHESON continues its programme of strategic expansion with the acquisition of 3-D Welding & Industrial Supply Inc. (3-D Welding) in Central Texas.
3-D Welding was founded in 1980, and has grown to become one of the largest independent welding supply operations in Texas.
Operating out of seven facilities in the Central Texas Region that includes San Antonio and Austin, 3-D Welding offers industrial, specialty, and bulk gases, plus welding hard goods, equipment, supplies and services.
It is therefore anticipated that the operations of the two companies in the region will ‘mesh’ well, with MATHESON noting that the deal is part of its vertical integration strategy.
