Cylinder manufacturer Luxfer Gas Cylinders (Luxfer) has launched a new hydrogen transportation system that aims to ‘revolutionise’ how businesses can harness the power of hydrogen.
The company’s new G-Stor Hydrosphere solution is a collection of Multiple Element Gas Containers (MEGCs) were developed to support the safe and sustainable transportation of hydrogen via virtual gas pipelines.
Launched during the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam, G-Stor draws on the company’s Type 4 (G-Stor Go H2) cylinder technology.
Available in 20ft and 40ft units, MEGCs address infrastructure challenges in the hydrogen supply chain by enabling the storage and transport of over one tonne of hydrogen.
