Hypertherm, an advanced cutting system manufacturer, is gearing up for the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2016 where it will showcase live demonstrations of its technologies.
The US-based business will offer live waterjet cutting with its HyPrecision pump and PowerDredge abrasive removal system, along with comparative cutting displays and demonstrations of its ProNest 2017 and Robotmaster robotic software.
Hypertherm will also be offering the Build It! Challenge for mechanically-minded students, in conjunction with fellow cutting machine manufacturer WARDJet. In the contest, the teams will compete to build a working waterjet cutting system in order to win a waterjet for their school’s machining lab.
