Linde has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), marking the 22nd consecutive year, achieving the highest score of any industrial gas company in the corporate sustainability assessment (CSA).
Published annually, the DJSI World represents the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global broad market index.
Inclusion is based on long-term economic, environmental, and social criteria, and constituents are identified by S&P Global through its annual sustainability benchmark, the CSA.
Linde ranked in the 99th percentile among over 500 peer companies overall and in the top 1% for the environment category.

The industrial gas giant was also included in the DJSI North America list.
Linde’s products, technologies, and services helped its customers to avoid 91 million metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2023 – more than double its own global emissions.
The company’s climate goals include its 2035 science-based absolute greenhouse gas emissions reduction target and its 2050 climate neutrality ambition.
