Linde North America has received certification of its Vancouver, Washington, manufacturing facility under the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® program.
As the third such facility of eight Linde North America plants to be certified by the close of 2008, the Vancouver facility joins Linde’s corporate headquarters in Murray Hill, New Jersey and its South Bend, Indiana, CO2 plant.
The Vancouver site incorporates two air separation plants, the first of which started up in 1989. These units separate air cryogenically to produce over 600 tpd of liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
Product from the Vancouver plant is trucked to hospitals, food processors, metals producers, biopharmaceutical manufacturers and semiconductor manufacturers in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
