Linde Engineering North America Inc. announced today that Goutam Shahani, Business Development Manager, will present a paper on carbon capture at this year’s American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
The Annual Meeting, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, is the world’s premier refining meeting, assembling key executives and technical experts from refining and marketing organizations worldwide, as well as representatives from associated industries.
Shahani’s paper, which he will present on March 25, is titled “CO2 Capture from Steam Methane Reformers – Understanding the Options.”
In this presentation, Shahani will speak about the importance of hydrogen plant designs that minimise carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. His paper, co-authored with Christine Kandziora, Task Manager of Carbon Capture and Sequestration at Linde, will assess the impact of CO2 capture and discuss various options for reduction of this greenhouse gas in plant designs. Meeting attendees will also have an opportunity to spend time with experts with worldwide experience in the design, construction and operation of process plants for the refining and petrochemical industry. Several Linde organisations will be hosting a hospitality suite, providing meeting attendees a chance to relax and learn about The Linde Group’s range of offerings.
