Linde Canada prepare to display their ECOCYL® OSQ speciality gases cylinder at the Canadian Process and Animation Show.
ECOCYL® OSQ cylinders from the HiQ® speciality gases series offer an eco-friendly, durable alternative to existing disposable cylinders.
Also promised during the exhibition are expert discussions of speciality gas equipment capabilities in addition to demonstrations from the HiQ product series. Linde invite readers to visit their booth and witness both the BASELINE® speciality gas regulator and the ECOCYL® OSQ speciality gases cylinder in operation.
Canadian Process Equipment and Control News have sponsored the Process and Automation event for the past 35 years and will be doing so this year on April 28 at the Dante Club in Western Ontario. Speciality gases marketing manager for Linde Canada, Darlene Haapanen explained the venue, ‘Sarnia is the centre of Ontario’s petrochemical industry.’
The new cylinder employs negative pressure technology that ensures precision in the calibration gas delivery requirements for ultra-sensitive instruments such as gas detectors with docking stations.
The ECOCYL® OSQ avoids damage from the positive gas pressure associated with usual gas cylinders thanks to its in-built on-demand flow regulator. Similarly the cylinder addresses environmental waste problems by offering a refillable alternative to the existing disposable cylinder packages.
Expert discussions will address Linde capabilities for supplying pure gases mixtures for instrumentation and calibration, liquid and gaseous hydrocarbon standards, EPA protocols, as well as disposable cylinders.
Haapanen expects the exhibition to attract technical specialists who are looking for ‘new and novel ways to operate their sensitive air quality monitoring equipment safely and efficiently.’
