As part of a five year re-branding process, BOC Pakistan Limited has officially changed its name to Linde Pakistan Limited.
After Linde AG acquired The BOC Group in September 2006, forming The Linde Group, the firm began a process to unite all the companies within The Linde Group umbrella under a single Linde identity.
Yousuf Mirza, Chief Executive of Linde Pakistan described the move as “momentous”, he said, “We mark a momentous milestone in the history of our company today. We are proud to become Linde in Pakistan, and aspire to double the size of our business here within the next five years. With the strong backing of our parent company The Linde Group, we expect to further increase our footprint across the country and reinforce our market leadership.”
Lee Bon Hian, Linde’s Head of Cluster Countries in South & East Asia commented, “Pakistan has been an important contributor to our business in this region and we continue to be extremely positive about the many market opportunities we see here. Linde is actively seeking opportunities to achieve strong and sustainable growth of our business, and to ensure we are well-positioned to support our existing and potential new customers in their growth plans.”
