Linde has made an approximately $90m investment to increase the liquid hydrogen production capacity at its facility location in McIntosh, Alabama.
The industrial gas giant confirmed today (5th December) that its McIntosh plant can now produce up to 30 tonnes per day of liquid hydrogen for the local merchant market.
Additional hydrogen produced at the site will meet increasing demand for hydrogen from Linde’s existing and new customers in various end markets, including manufacturing and electronics.
It will also supply hydrogen to Linde’s space launch and mobility customers.
