Linde India Limited has set up its first dedicated healthcare cylinder filling site at Siliguri, North of West Bengal (India).
The site marks a significant milestone in the expansion of the company’s healthcare business, in the emerging cities of India.
Linde India has invested in the cryogenic liquid storage and cylinder filling facility, installed with modern cylinder filling and handling equipment and product testing laboratory at the site. These standards are in accordance with India Pharmacopeia (IP) regulations.
Linde confirmed reports of the new plant to gasworld and Moloy Banerjee, Managing Director of Linde India, said in a statement, “The India healthcare industry is one of the most vital and fast growing industrial sectors which is expected to reach $160bn by 2017 and $280bn by 2020. We believe in it’s potential and will continue to invest in this industry.”
