The Germany headquartered industrial gases business has signed a deal to enter a Joint Venture (JV) in healthcare in Saudi Arabia with KJC – it has been reported in local media in the country.
Reported by Arab News, the CEO of Linde, Dr. Wolfgang Buechele, and KJC Chairman Khaled Juffali signed a shareholders’ agreement at the Linde Group’s head office to set up a JV in health care in Saudi Arabia.
The event was also attended by board members and responsible managers, including Dr. Aldo Belloni, member of the executive board of Linde and responsible for the EMEA region, Tom Blades, member of the executive board of Linde and responsible for Linde Healthcare worldwide, and Ali Hamdani, head of Linde Healthcare, Middle East.
The JV will be operated through a limited liability company under the name of Linde KJC Healthcare and will provide innovative care programs for long-term ventilated patients in their own hospitals and clinics under Linde trademark REMEO. The venture also plans to provide home care services for chronically ill patients and other health care related services.
“By signing this agreement, Linde extends its commitment to the Kingdom in the area of health care,” stated Ali Hamdani, head of Linde Health care, Middle East.
He also expressed his enthusiasm at the opportunities this venture offered and emphasised on Linde’s commitment toward providing the best-in-class services to the people of Saudi Arabia.
