Sanjiv Lamba, CEO of Linde, has said that the industrial gas giant will bring around 29 to 30 onstream during the remainder of the year, shrinking its backlog by around $1bn.
Lamba confirmed this on a recent earnings call, following Linde’s third quarter (Q3) financials, which highlighted a record $10bn backlog.

It is thought that the company’s largest-ever sale-of-gas project signed with Canadian chemical company Dow represents around half of Linde’s project backlog.
